On the website of PicoSol is a roadmap for determining the optimum solar system. In this article we look at the SMA Sunny Island system, which we have chosen for SolarSchools.
The system distinguishes itself on several points:
- It is modular, that is to say: Easy to expand when the energy consumption increases in the future.
- It is able to be connected at the Internet, so that a first diagnosis of a potential problem can be determined at a distance.
- It is easy to connect with an existing (unreliable) energy supply, such as a generator or the public network.
